Na Zdrowie 5K Presented By:

Thanks to all of you who participated in the Na Zdrowie! To Your Health 5K+ Run on Sunday, August 15, 2010.
All enjoyed the good weather and the beautiful Minneapolis riverfront as they ran or walked the most scenic
course in Minneapolis, which includes historic Main Street and the Stone Arch Bridge.
We apologize for the course confusion towards the end of the race. The course was switched at the last minute
due to the new NorthStar trains taking people to Twins games during the race time. Safety concerns had to take precedence.
Many stayed after the run to redeem their coupons at the second annual Twin Cities Polish Festival to celebrate Polish
culture with music, dance, food, activities, exhibits, children's games, beverages, dogs, movies and more!
Course Description:
Race starts by St Anthony Main Theatre at southeast entrance to Festival grounds. (SE 115 Main Street Minneapolis 55414)
Flat loop course on paved paths; through Father Hennepin Park, across Stone Arch Bridge, along W. River Road (water stop),
over Plymouth Avenue bridge through Boom Island park onto Nicollet Island. Last portion of race winds through lovely and
historic Nicollet Island residential neighborhood before finishing across Merriam Street Bridge at north TCPF entrance.
Proposals are underway to make next year's run a full 6K. Steps are already being taken to incorporate suggestions and rectify
reported problems, so continue to provide your feedback or volunteer at:

Proceeds benefit the Polish cultural educational needs as administered by the TCPF, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which
supports scholarship programs and community organizations.
