Children’s Area & Activities – Twin Cities Polish Festival

HOURS OF OPERATION:

  • Saturday 10 AM to 8 PM
  • Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM

    The Twin Cities Polish Festival will have two different kinds of activities for children this year:

    1. Activities that will be available for kids all the time:

    • Face painting
    • Crazy hair painting
    • Two Polish maps (one to explore Poland and the other one to mark where your roots are from)
    • Making Polish flags
    • Making bracelets in red and white color from beads
    • Stand where you can take a picture of yourselves as a “gorale”
    • Cotton candy machine (we will be making cotton candy all the time!)

    2. Activities that will last a short period of time:

    Saturday: 12 to 2 PM

    • Painting or coloring competition
    • Two subjects to choose from:
      • Vacation in Poland
      • Things I know about Poland

    We will announce the winners on the stage after our performance and there will be prizes for first, second and third place.

    Saturday: 2 PM to 4 PM

    • Balloon Artistry by Mandana will visit kids activities both and will make different kinds of characters for balloons

    Saturday: 5 PM

    • Our theatre group will perform

    Sunday: 11 AM to 1 PM

    • We will have 2 Easter projects for kids

    Sunday: 2 PM

    • Performance of our theater group

    Sunday: 3 PM to 4 PM

    • Two Christmas projects for kids

    2022 TWIN CITIES POLISH FESTIVAL CANCELLED.
    Due to construction on the Third Ave Bridge and COVID19 concerns, TCPF regretfully announces that we will not be holding a festival in 2022. In the coming year, with our community’s support, we are committed to finding the needed organizational volunteers and resources to hold a festival in 2023. If you wish to help us reach this goal please contact us at information@tcpolishfestival.org.
