Chabry - Polish Teen Folk Dancers

Chabry, the teen Polish folk dance group, was started in 2002. The group was founded as a place for teens, between the ages of 12-16, who are too old to be in the children’s group and not quite old enough to be in the adult group. It allows teens to continue or start practicing and performing Polish dance and it acts as a stepping-stone into the adult group Dolina. website

Mosaica Folk ensemble Twin Cities

Mosaica is a local group of Minnesota musicians and singers, performing Polish songs from the past. Each song and melody elicits memories from the past by bringing together colorful pictures and decorative designs of the old country. The lyrics tell of the trials and tribulations of everyday life, as well as deep feelings of love and longing, and life before and after the war. Come enjoy the Polish songs you and your parents and grandparents used to sing around the Polish table at parties growing up. Join in with Mosaica singers performing familiar songs such as "Szla Dzieweczka" and "Mury". The waltzes, polkas, and love songs you will enjoy will have you dancing in the aisles.

Polish Connection - WAUSAU, Wisconsin

Craig Ebel & DyVersaCo

Craig Ebel plays concertina with DyVersaCo and is the band's leader. Craig is also the host of "It's Polka Time!" a syndicated radio show heard across the United States and over the Internet. His knowledge of the music makes him the perfect person to front the band. The musicians who make up DyVersaCo have quite the experience of performing in not only different types of music, but also in different styles of polka music. Polka music is just that - polka music!! Whether you listen to it on the radio or regularly go polka dancing, promote the music proudly and encourage others to do the same. website

Chmielewski Funtime Family Band

Since 1882, the Midwest’s most well known entertainers, the Chmielewski Family, have been synonymous with polka music. Over 100 years later and into five succeeding generations, the Chmielewski Family music has never stopped. website

The Dobosenski Brothers and the Cavaliers

A Blast from the Past: The Dobosenski Brothers and the Cavaliers come together for this special event for 2 days.

After disbanding 25 years ago to pursue other personal ventures and careers, members of these bands are reuniting this one time at the 2010 Twin Cities Polish Festival. The original members joining us are Mark & Todd Dobosenski, along with Chuck Burak on drums, Kevin Adams (OH) and Reggie Lallie on horns, Dan Fabek on concertina and Lee Ruotsi (NY) on fiddle.

There is no new CD, but the band's old LPs, now on CD, will be for sale, as well as t-shirts. This band is sponsored by Gene Swick (CA), a promoter of Polish music and its heritage. Swick hopes that this special gift to the Twin Cities Polish Festival fans will touch the memory and hearts of many and help to keep the Twin Cities Polish Festival alive for many years to come.
